I am trying to restore my iPhone and it's not working out... I thought it might be a firewall blocking apple on my router so I direct connected to my modem. Same results.

After it extracts software and verify's I get the pop up message everytime...

Tbh I got soo many errors I eventually ignored all mine... I'd advise to wait until tommorow and see if t still occurs; it's my safest bet at the moment. :)

if it is error 1004, go to ur windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file, and delete the es.apple xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx line at the end

Apple restore servers were down for some time earlier today and are probably still recovering.

I'd try again later in the night or tomorrow morning.
