So i stopped paying my bill for my phone and they cut my line and I sold my iPhone to my friend and she said that she couldn't activate her line to the phone I sold her because she said its still activated what can I do to help her activate her line to the iPhone I sold her because they charge to much to actually cancel a line and it doesn't even have a line anymore on it please help?

I'd surmise you are still under contract and within the subsidy payback term. If so, the phone isn't fully yours yet.

My guess is slightly different - if you have Sprint or Verizon, and stop paying your bill, they put a block on the ESN, and that phone cannot be activated on any other network until the bill/ETF is paid.

I think you're right.

On a related note:
It was only yesterday people would have been ashamed to admit so freely to breaking contracts- their word.

Seems to come easily today for some.
