this phone is perfect, 64GB, A5,8MP camera (crosses fingers for 1GB RAM.)

and, just to note, i haven't been bitching about the no iPhone 5. :D

That's such an amazingly mild spec boost... I don't know how anyone could be satisfied with it. 16 months and all we get is that?
 
Given the phones coming out the end of this year, it is very me'h.

With flash prices going down since 16GB and 32GB options came out, I was hoping for 32GB and 64GB at the $199 and $299 prices.
 
I agree but the availabilty of the 64GB makes for better use of the 1080p recording. I'm sure that will be the model I'll get.

agreed. i am extremely let down with apple thus far. this is great news for those with older iphones but if you already have an iphone 4, this new iphone is kind of redundant

You got too be kidding me. Even though I'm upset about not having a resign(mostly larger screen), the specs boost is very good.

numbers on a processor mean nothing. The A5 has been tested to outpace the Samsung GSII by a TON, and thats when its pushing the higher resolution the iPad 2 uses. The way the OS runs is the reason.

What is wrong with you? Are you such a fanboy that you are excited at mediocrity? This "bump" is so meh its not even funny.

What a great way for the new CEO to address the world, an over hyped conference full of nothing.

Nothing great though.....Faster processor for gamming?? Really its a freaken phone with small screen. Games are good but nothing like a bigger screen would have provided. Talking to your iphone in slow methodical manner. Not going to happen. Prob will be buggy at best. Better camera...Camera for a phone still good as is. All the other stuff can get on current Iphone 4
 
I don't have an iPhone tho... this will be my first, it's the iPhone 4 done right, i'm happy. :D

WOW. But its ALL NEW INSIDE.....of a crappy outer shell that nobody really likes. Its too fragile, its uncomfortable.

Looks great on a dock. Thats about it.

And im a fanboy. Or at least, i was.

^ That. The iPhone 4's plenty fast. This isn't an iPad, such an increase in performance isn't going to really help me at this point. It's not an Android phone that's going to require a good processor and sizable amount of RAM to work well. Maybe I'll just jump ships. The Bionic or Sensation both look incredibly tempting. Ice Cream Sandwich looks extremely promising as well.

Yea I do understand. The Camera & 64gb space is the only upgrades that really matter to me. Mostly the 64gb.

I wasn't to impressed with a speed boost either since iOS on the 4 is already fast as hell, and the games & graphics are even good.
