'iPhone 4S' Cases Already Arriving?

@Chronicwire posts images of Otterbox case boxes specifically labeled for the "iPhone 4S". He goes on to claim that Otterbox has produced 3,000,000 cases for the "iPhone 4S".

Apple is planning to release a new iPhone in October, but there have been conflicting rumors about what models they are planning to introduce. A recent report suggested that Apple would only be releasing a slightly modified iPhone 4-like device (dubbed "iPhone 4S") rather than a more dramatically redesigned iPhone 5.

yes i hate those people who say it but if this is indeed all they have to offer i'll look somewhere else .... S

I'm going to cry if there's no iPhone 5 this year. In fact, I'm going to cry at Tim Cook's door. :(
 
I have to believe that this is going to be the size of the iPhone 5 or 4. Whichever u want to call it... It's one thing when small case manufactures in china make cases.. It's another thing when speck and otterbox makes cases
 
just to let you guys know i have a white speck case just like that and the camera hole for it is the size of the "reported" 4s candy shell case

Well besides that the iPhone 4s would be the iPhone 5, you will probably be crying next year too because if Apple puts LTE in the phone next year chances are it won't be called iPhone 5 it will be called iPhone 4G.
 
It's not looking for a redesign.....Ill still get the redesigned phone with spec bump. Along with iOS 5 should be a decent upgrade.

This it total crap. You can see the S has been photoshopped on. Get real. The 5 is coming in October. Ugh.
 
Apple is too smart to make the upgrade a failure. Whatever they have to do to stay on top and continue innovating, they will do. So, if there is only a spec bump, in their eyes, it is all they need to stay on top. But I doubt it. I have a feeling this upgrade will at least be a very good one. I see this being equal in proportion from iPad 1 -> iPad 2. It will be awesome, but not so awesome you will pee your pants during the Keynote.

The texture of the yellow cardboard/paper behind the "4S" does appear to be different than the rest, almost like a smoothing tool or eraser tool was used on it.

Yeah, I was going to say I don't know what to make of the otterbox deal, but the Speck case they show here is and has already been available to a little while now with this larger cut out.
 
FAKE...

I've seen these cases in the stores already. Some have the bigger camera hole...

Just more FUD for the masses.
