Hi all

I was getting random black screens using my 2011 Mac Mini with my Samsung SyncMaster 205BW via HDMI and thought it was the black screen problem. It would go black then return then go again in a fairly quick succession.

I then realised it was only doing it when my iPhone was near the screen, remove the phone and the problem stopped. Is this as the screen is old and will it be cured with a new monitor as I'm looking at a 24" or two as I'm working from home a lot now and want to dump my windows laptop as much as possible.

Thoughts and help appreciated.

It's the uprise of the iPhones! The apocalypse is near. Just the mere presence of the iPhone will destroy the evil Samsung... :)

changed my aging 20" Samsung monitor for a 24" AOC monitor and the new screen does not black out when my iPhone is near it, nor when the printer gets plugged into the external USB port.

Happy days.
