this article is proof in my eyes that people dont listen. the 4s has way too many issues for it to be selling out everywhere.
Forest for the trees.
A5-powered iPhone + Apple ecosystem + Siri.
There is no mystery here.

this article is proof in my eyes that people dont listen. the 4s has way too many issues for it to be selling out everywhere. i honestly thought they would have ironed out all of the problems by now with the .1 update, but they havent. they are still spitting out 150k a day so the build quality still sucks. they stated it would be a few weeks before they ironed out the battery issues and there is still glitch after glitch within the software.
did apple hit their "peak" with the i4? i think that might be highly possible.
may the -1s be stricken upon me for being 100% brutally honest.
Fastest roll-out because it's gonna be the shortest product refresh cycle. iPhone 5 in June/July.
Luckily my current contract isn’t up, so I can avoid the 4S temptation!
I’m aiming for the 5 myself... but there’s a BIG problem with that.
You see, 10-20 months later, the 5 will get a major internal upgrade, to a 5S, say... same shape, but a much better machine! Do I really want to get an iPhone 5, knowing something so much better is coming before my contract is even up? Plus, a second version of a proven design is likely to be even more refined and perfected (like the antennas on the 4S) vs. a brand-new design.
I say, wait for the iPhone 5S. Unless something better is coming after that, but I’ve heard no rumors about it if so...
Still debating if this is worth getting or waiting till the actual 5
I would wait for the iPhone 5.
How does giving it two more cores with no regard for battery life make it innovative. My cpu has 6 cores, it makes be from the future if you call 4 cores innovative.
Will be fast. Will have a half hour of battery life. Still looks ugly.

Wasn't it supposed to be the Atrix "superphone"?
Wait, so Hong Kong is a country now?
How is more innovation a quad core, more RAM and a bigger display? Those are upgrades to HTC's previous version.
Many of the "newest fastest" Android devices I've used have somehow "innovated" how to double the CPU speed but show almost no discernible difference in performance in actual use (ie scrolling remains choppy, UI visibly low frame rate, etc)
How is more innovation a quad core, more RAM and a bigger display? Those are upgrades to HTC's previous version.
Hong Kong is what is called a Special Administrative Region so operates it's own borders, currency, laws etc. So effectively operates as it's own country whilst still being technically part of the Peoples Republic of China since the transition back in 1999. In reality it is more of a separate country than Wales and England are and they are technically separate countries.
Macau is a similar arrangement.
Many... please give us some proof... or else you are like some guy from theverge that got the galaxy nexus and wrote it lags. Obviously everybody that actually had some time with the device laughed at him pretty hard.
Troll away.

Seriously? Is that your opinion? rofl. (there is no point even trying to speak to a person that doesn't see Kal-el in a 4.7" as innovation)
It's proof that people don't care.
I haven't used the Galaxy Nexus. But I have used several Android phones when they were the "new hotness"... T-Mobile G2 (dual core! and choppy!) Droid Bionic (faster dual cores! blows the iPhone 4 away! err.. and choppy!) As in "yeah-it's-dual-core-but-you'd-never-know-it".
Why is Kal-el in a 4.7" device particularly innovative?
Here's the article headline:
iPhone 4S Demand Remains Strong as International Rollouts Continue
It's got numbers and figures and all those fun little things.
It's posted on an Apple-centric website (this is a rather important point.)
Here's your response - out of the clear blue sky, completely unrelated to the what's under discussion:
I see this much more innovative...

Explain to me what's going on here and what you're trying to achieve with that comment.
Anyone who does software knows that it is never perfect. You think Apple iOS is buggy? Try Android. Apple is ahead of the competition in terms of mobile software. This is not to say it is perfect, but darn close to it.
I personally upgraded to 4s and couldn't be happier. In the US at least, it actually makes little financial sense to keep your contract a day after your 2 year agreement
