    Hi All,

my iPhone randomly died the other evening (This isnt the first time) so did what I got told by Apple and Hold the home button / power button for 10 seconds, remove the power button and hold home for a further 7 seconds to get it into DFU / Recovery mode - I did this as I cannot see my iPhone in itunes etc so it was the only way for it to recognize the phone.

I've managed to click restore, and get the apple logo with the loading bar, it finishes restoring, and get the message on itunes stating that my iphone will appear once it's restarted........but it never does! It just goes back to the charging screen and will not switch back on.

I've tried multiple laptops / cables / USB ports to no avail, and even left my phone charging for a good two hours but it still won't turn on.

    Any tips / advice?

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds like it has a hardware issue that cannot be fixed with a restore.
