iPhone 4s iOS 7 to iOS 6 downgrade possible?

My wife's iPhone 4s is on iOS 7.1.2

She doesn't like it a bit and it's too slow. Have to try reset the phone (last resort)

I am wondering if it is possible to downgrade to iOS 6 ?

Phone is not yet jailbroken

I've been looking for a used 4S on eBay and all these clowns upgraded the phones to iOS 7 and some even iOS 8!

I will not buy one without iOS 6 on it.

Why not take advantage of the generous $200 trade in for iPhone 4 & 4s?

Depending on the carrier, you can then get a 6 or even a 5s to save more money

My 4 and 5 are both still on iOS 6.

Well, depending on the phone, $200 is not generous, although it is easy. Your 5, if its in good shape and actually has iOS 6 on should go for close to $500 on eBay...not sure about the 4, but probably much better than $200. Just a thought.
