Currently trying to jailbreak with no success. Issue of modifying rootfs continues to occur. Anyone able to help me with this?

The evasi0n jailbreak is known to have some issues with OTA updated devices. I don't know if you can still factory reset your device without going into a boot loop, but that's about all you can do. Reset, activate, and then hope you can jailbreak successfully.

the evasi0n jailbreak requires restoring to the iOS firmware in using iTunes in order to jailbreak it
Can I download a restore to 7.0.6 or will I have to update to 8.2.2 and wait for a jailbreak?

at this time, 7.0.6 is no longer signed so you cannot restore to that version
i think only 8.2 is signed right now
