iPhone 4S moved to Prepared for shipment!

Goodyear AZ.... for now.
I managed to get my iphone 4S order in on Friday (ATT version). I read that Sprint models already have tracking numbers!

I checked my apple order status and mine has already changed to prepared for shipment!

I know this didnt happen last time, are they sending them out early rather tha making us wait?

Did everyone take a grumpy pill before entering this thread?

I just checked mine and it says "Preparing for shipment".
 
Orders are normally prepared for shipment a few days prior. They have hundreds of thousands of iPhones to pack and label that would take a few days and it will take a few days to ship from China. So I wouldn't expect the iPhone to arrive any earlier than Thursday though I reckon Apple would have instructed couriers not to deliver until Friday no matter what.

now to check for fedex to load it into their system. You can usually see the tracking number before appl loads it onto their site by putting your cell number in the reference number field.

I got 2 iPhone 4 phones delivered last year a day before launch day...... so did many others.

When you login on AT&T and click "My Orders" it doesn't show anything?

You should have received an email from AT&T with an order no. and other information.
