iphone 4's on 4.0 and 4.1 upgrading to 4.3.1

Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Ive taken a look at some of the guides and dont know what im reading lol.

I have 2 iphone 4's.
One on 4.0
One on 4.1
I remember using tiny umbrella to preserve my baseband for the one i upgraded.

I dont rely on an unlock, i just want to preserve my bb for resale purposes.

but where does he get the files hes talking about? is that even the process i want to follow?
