I have a jailbroken iPhone 4S on iOS 7.0.4 and suddenly out of nowhere it started to boot in safe mode only. I did not do anything. It has been more than a month that I have installed or updated any new cydia app. The phone was just kept on table and after some time I see it was booted in safe mode so I restarted it expecting that it will boot Normally in jailbroken mode but nope again safe mode and this Keeps happening. I am unable to go in jailbroken mode. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?
Yes. Update to iOS 7.0.6, and re-jailbreak. 7.0.4 has a very nasty SSL bug in it that was fixed in the latest release. I'd say to upgrade to that, jailbreak, and see if the problem persists. BL.
When I try to boot normally after it has boot, there is a EXIT SAFE MODE on status bar always and when I use volume up button and boot then it boots in safe mode but no EXIT SAFE MODE in status bar. Either ways I am always in safe mode. Should I start by uninstalling cydia apps and see ?
I had this happen back when I jailbroke my iPod 4rth Gen Yes, you need to start disabling crap until it works.
Ok so it seems fixed now. As darriksailo suggested, I first updated cydia substrate and It did not solve the problem so I went to uninstall it and it also uninstalled almost all tweaks in my phone. Restart device and it appeared to be in normal jailbroken mode so for testing purpose I installed zeppelin (had it before) and it worked fine. Thanks for the replies everyone. I hope it stays that way.
