A video on YouTube says iOS 9 is slower on the phone then 8.3.Anyone here has used iOS 9 on iPhone 4S?
It's freaking awesome! Feels like iOS 7 right now and i know it will reach iOS 6 level with GM. And imagine how it will feel when Apple polishes the whole iOS around March.
Apple just gave another life to my 4s. Thanks!!
How's the battery? Which features aren't available?
Keep in mind it's not really iOS 9 just yet, it's only the first developer beta of iOS 9.A video on YouTube says iOS 9 is slower on the phone then 8.3.Anyone here has used iOS 9 on iPhone 4S?
speedwise its the same as ios 8.4 right now. but a little more buggier sometimes closed apps would appear to closed but still be running.
proactive spotlight does not work for me , maybe its not for 4s or a region thing.
i get this weird bug where instead of carrier name i get "iPhone" written. kinda annoying.

On my 4S it works terrible.
It doesn't show carrier name and it's very very laggy
Nope...Are you seeing Proactive search? I cant see it on my 4S.. idk why
to show carrier name turn on cellular data (3g+data roamning) and hard reset the iphone by pressing power and home button until it reboots. fixes it for me
That's not a bug, that's a magical new feature we've been asking for years, nobody cares about the carrier nameOn my 4S it works terrible.

Or even future betas. For those newly upgraded 4s, hold off your assessment until about a day into your use of iOS 9. Seems like the phone is compiling stuff in the background and downloads some data for a little while. That may be the culprit for the initial slowness.
I don't have iOS 9 on my 5th gen iPod touch, but I can tell you that it'll never have battery percentage. The iPod touch doesn't have the sensors for battery percentage. That's why if you turn it off for a while, your battery might jump up since it's really just an estimate.Anybody know how it does on iPod Touch? And does it FINALLY have the battery percentage yet?
So strange that others say its killed their A5 device
Can you post a video (of course only if you have time and the means to) of how it runs?
It’s extremely slow on the iPad mini 1, I seriously doubt that it will be nearly as fast as iOS7 or 6 were on its final release.
