IPhone 4s only lasted 2hours on 3g..

Are there more people who only got 2-2 and a half hour battery life out of their 4s not jailbroken?
I know 2 hours was pretty good for my 4s with gps always off.
I was browsing and gaming at the "on" time when it was not in standby. All in 2 day and always charge the night.

Battery is dying out. If under Apple Care warranty, take it to Apple.

That time is not normal. I regularly get over 8 hours of 3G web browsing on my 4S. Of course my mobile experience is drastically different from most other iPhone users.

I get all day use out of my 4S, web/typing mostly over 3G/4G H+ - I turn off WiFi.

There is something seriously wrong with your phone. My iPhone 4S (and 4 before that) would run all day and night (15+ hours with up to 5 hours of screen-on time) on a single charge. And that's with 3 Exchange push email accounts and other various things such as bluetooth on the entire time, wifi on (sometimes connected, sometimes not) the whole time, etc.

I never used a restore without putting back data. ofcource did a whole lot of restores, but always say to itunes to put back my backup.
Maybe it was just the 4s i dont know.
5 hours would be great on the iphone 5. more would be a miracle to me^^

Are we talking screen ON time? If so, I got about 3 hours on my 3G and 5-6 on my 4. Never had a 3GS or 4S.

I don't think that's it. I've been using the same backup on my 4S since 2007 and it's been jailbroken on every firmware it's ever been used with as well.

yes screen-on time. and while screen is off still downloading/checking mail every 15mins.
