For those with the SGS2 and complaining that the Nexus Prime is 'too big,' how do you feel about the Galaxy Nexus only being slightly larger than your phone despite having a much larger screen?

Well they don't like that lol. They want a phone roughly the same size with a much smaller screen, unless Apple go bigger screen then they want the bigger screen. Why ask them what they want? It's what Apple wants for them is what they want. Kind like their Father. Apple knows best.

The Galaxy Nexus is just a tad too big for my liking but if size or Apple's eco-system is not not an issue, I would seriously consider it as its just screaming awesomeness.

The nexus prime and galaxy nexus are the same thing. 4.3 vs 4.65 isn't slightly larger.. its a lot. Even 4.5 to 4.3 was way bigger IMO. I spoke of it being to big because of my small hands. I owned the Infuse prior to the GS II and it was much wider than the gs II making it harder to grip with one hand.

remember that the galaxy nexus doesn't have any hardware buttons on the front of the device

Coming from Android devices I say stick with the iPhone 4S, nothing beats the iPhone 4S at this point. iOS5 + iPhone4S's hardware are a killer combination.

I mainly use my phone for videos/pictures, text and web browsing and nothing beats it. The camera on the iPhone 4S is miles ahead of the competition.

im on my mac and i have a droid incredible. I have absolutely no problems. Double twist has been "air syncing" my music for months now and its flawless. No reason to really plug my phone into my computer other than to install a custom rom

i find it extremely funny that more people are saying galaxy nexus then iphone 4s on a macrumors forum. Just to give me two cents, galaxy nexus is better than the iphone 4s. I really cant think of a reason that anybody would get an iphone. More apps? its almost 50 50. ios has 600000 apps and android has 500000. Ecosystem is not a problem i have a mac and a droid incredible. Size. Get a smaller android phone you have choices. Smoothness? That was all fixed in ICS (Which ive used)

OP has owned 7 smartphones, thats including 3 Androids and every iPhone so (excluding 4S) and he's asking "us" Galaxy or 4S? Come'on bro, you should know what kinda phone you like by now...

Just depends what you want. I have a 4S and I would recommend it to anyone. The Galaxy Nexus is really a nice phone to with ICS. If you want a bigger screen then Galaxy nexus is for you. Too me the phone is a little too big.
