I cleared setting and content on my iPhone 4s the old SIM card is still in it. I might give the phone to a relative. When going into contacts my number still shows on the phone. Since my number is on my new iPhone how do I remove it on iPhone 4s? Will removing old SIM card remove number?

Yes. Changing the SIM card will change the number.

But why, after you Erased all Content and Settings, did you setup the phone again? (You must have set it up in order to see Contacts.) You should Erase all Contents and Settings again so that the new owner sees the Hello (setup) screen when they turn it on.

My contacts aren't in it anymore everything was deleted and went through the hello screen. It was setup as new When I click on contacts it says My number: (my number) There are no contacts in it. It's showing when I go into settings clicking on phone and see my number. It shows up in iTunes as well. I setup as new phone but still showing on iTunes. I was trying to see if removing SIM card would remove the number from phone.

Since that SIM card is no longer used I have a new one and my phone number transferred. I will be giving phone to my younger cousin. He uses it for apps and wifi. If I remove the SIM card will he still be able to install apps, use wifi, Safari etc? Or is it ok to leave it? It's an att SIM card.
