I don't mind spending money money on a GPS app. The TomTom app looks nice. I used to have a TomTom awhile back and liked it. $50 is cheaper than buying an actual GPS. I'll give the free apps a try and maybe the Verizon nav a try first.

in that case go for it, u wont be dissapointed. again, this is coming for an ex iphone basher, android user

I downloaded the TomTom app and it works great. I can plug it into my car radio and control Pandora and my MP3's through the car radio while the TomTom is running on the iPhone and the directions mute the car music and play through the car speakers and it keeps the iPhone charged. Pretty neat setup.

The downside is the battery life is disappointing. I ordered an Incipio offgrid battery case. That should do the trick.
