iphone 4s sale compare to last year

How is it going so far? can someone advise on how last year went? Wasn't it sold out in first few hours? It doesn't sound like they are sold out yet??

So this year sale is behind last year for sure?? Not sure as I wasn't really following last years sale. Someone advise(my verizon purchase on verizon site was so smooth so I have no idea if there is no demand or what)

I spoke to a local AT&T store rep at about 10am and she said that there was already a 2-3 week wait on pre-orders through AT&T.
