iPhone 4S speaker question

Hi guys,

When I listen to music on my iPhone speakers, only music comes out of one of the speakers. Is this normal or should I bring it back? I'm confused as to why it wouldn't use both speakers but maybe this is normal.

If you're talking about the external speaker on the iPhone, there's only one. The other side is a mic, I believe. iPhone speaker output is "mono"
