I would assume the new iPhone will run a microsim still?
It's smaller, therefore giving Apple more room for other parts. Also, it makes it a little harder for the average person to unlock their phone, since they'd most likely have to cut a regular sim to fit in the micro-sim slot.
Why not virtual sim?
I don't think all of the carriers would allow it.
Why go back to normal SIMs? MicroSIM FTW.
Space is a premium inside a smartphone. The smaller the components the better. Ideally should trash the sim and go virtual however micro-sim is a good second choice.
