iPhone 5 or earlier iPhone 4S Wifi Deathgrip

i don't care if the wifi antenna was outside the phone in a little pouch...that fact is, if you perform the actions above, you lose one bar of wifi signal. and its not a coincidence because it can be performed in different locations and/or by other people and get the same result

Okay so lets say it does go down by one bar.......so? Whats your point?

If i throw a towel over my router I imagine its wifi signal will drop too. If I put a fishtank in front of it the signal will drop, wifi doesnt like water very much and you have lots of it in your body.

I really dont understand people like you, why would wifi dropping by one bar matter to ANYONE? This topic is laughable.

I've noticed my wifi speeds are considerably slower when I'm browsing in landscape mode. Not sure why this is, but I can replicate it almost everytime

Wow, do people seriously sat time aside to find any flaws with the iPhone? Goodness. Let that deathgrip stuff go!

People will sit there and find the smallest thing to complain about. Omg it dropped 1 bar time to get the phone replaced it has a wifi problem.

So let me get this right. With the iphone4 we were holding it wrong and now with the 4s we are still holding it wrong? Lol...

jesus christ! i don't have a point! ALL i wanted to know was if this happened when other people tried it. so if no one else could replicate it then maybe it WAS just a coincidence. god damn, i was just curious

Okay fair enough, its just that the title of your topic was a little sensational considering all wifi equipment will loose signal strength if you cover it in certain ways. Its a fact of life, its perfectly normal.

No offence but some of the topics on this forum make me want to perform a dethgrip ;)

I get it when I turn my phone upside down to browse. I do this sometimes when it's plugged in charging. Just feels better. some apps allow it becuAse they flip the screen. Had it flip when sending an email from safari I think. ie mail link to page. Or from some other app. Not sure which. So yea it's a problem sometimes but I won't be trying to screw apple out of a free bumper. I'd rather they spent their money and time on the battery issue.

Oh and I couldnt get it to loose signal by the OP method. In fact I thought I didn't have it. Then I found it by accident browsing as I described above.

Ya and if I ram my iPhone up my ass I won't be able to talk on it unless I have bluetooth activated...what's your point?
