Freezing worked

OK this is sound very very stupid way, but it's work! I found on iPhone user website in Thailand. They turn off the phone , put iPhone in zip bag and keep them in freezer for 5 minutes.



at the beginning I really scare of losing my iPhone 4s, but after suffering from this problem for months, So I did it! and it's work!



Try it on your own risk, It's work for me. now my iPhone 4S wifi is working.

Thanks a lot. Freezing it actually worked. It's been an hour and it's still working fine. If it happens again I won't be surprised since it is obviously a hardware issue. Hate iPhone now, considering Nexus 5 to replace.

Iphone 4s wi fi greying out

Hi, has the freezing continued to work???
I have now had 4, yes 4, Apple Iphone 4s have wi fi fail since the recent update. Apple infer they have a problem but it is my issue as I not them chose to upload the update.
Total lack of empathy and service. 4 trips to an Apple store, 4 phones later, out of pockets for $220 and they blame me.
you can see why people are moving to Samsung.

I tried the freezer trick for my phone that was grayed out wifi. Then i tried the heat trick by blowing a hair dryer on it to overheat it and it actually got the wifi to work again. Unfortunately i took apart the iphone and when i put it back together the wifi was grayed again. So i don't know if the heat trick is a temporary fix or permanent. Good luck.

i posted on this as well. have tried everything (including the freezer trick) and nothing is working. since i live in kenya i can't just go to the apple store to have them look at it. and since i live in kenya i really really need wifi.

ugh.
