Any chance that the next iPhone will maintain its current 3.5 inch screen size? If so, I'll look more towards the Nokia Lumia 900 rather than wait six months to be disappointed like I was with the 4S.

Enjoy your Nokia...

I personally don't see them changing the size. MAYBE 3.7... but I also personally don't want it bigger than that. Cellphone should be able to fit into my pocket. Those Galaxy Notes or whatever they are called(I can't keep track, a new one comes out the next day, because the other one failed), are too big.

I went to Android after the iPhone 4 bcuz 4S wasn't attractive. I think 4" screen should be minimum and once anyone uses a bigger screen can't go back to 3.5-3.7!

To compete with existing screen sizes on the market, I'm pretty sure the next iPhone will include a larger screen.

I switched from my 3G to about 5 various Android devices ranging from 3.7-4.65 and honestly I like the 3.5" best. One handed and two handed work very well, its footprint is small enough to not feel an absolute goof holding it to my face and fits in my pockets.

I can handle a 4" screen, but I hope they don't do it just because android does.

To be honest, I think my favorite screen thus far was the 4inch nexus S screen. The size is perfect. A 4in iPhone would be AMAZING!

I think 4" would be great, 3.7 would be pointless. I read an article today about a study that found that most consumers in the US do want bigger smartphones and it seems that the industry is moving towards bigger screens, I don't think Apple will ignore this.

I actually think Apple will surprise people this year by increasing the screen size without changing the physical size of the phone too much. We'll see in October, I guess.

Of course. I've seen numerous rumors of a 4 inch screen. But, they're just rumors.

Is there a chance it will stay at 3.5"? Of course. Like many others, I hope that isn't the case.

If you want an answer as to what we will see in this fall, no one on this forum has it. So if you want a larger screen, you can get one now seeing that you have endless options.

Usability would be so far trashed, they won't get rid of the 3.5" form factor for people who value an easy to use device.

They may add a 5" SKU... ala all the different iPod sizes. But I'm not counting on it, oh the havok for app devs.

My buddy picked up a AT&T galaxy s2 it was the first time I got to truly handle that phone. The most impressive thing about the phone was its screen size vs its overall size. 4.27" screen (I believe) with a 16:9 aspect ratio is a very good combination!!

I think if apple keeps their current aspect ratio it's going to be tough to use a much bigger screen. But on the same note a mild increase in size will appear to be bigger then it is cause of the aspect.

I want a bit bigger, not a phablet of course, but just that smidge bigger. Even if they had to do 3.8 or something.. 4 would be ideal.
