iPhone 5 and Passbook using NFC?

What do you think the chances are that Apple might be putting NFC (near field communication) into the iPhone 5, so now your iPhone is a credit card. I don't know to me the Passbook app, kind of seems a little stupid. But the moment you put credit cards in it, it doesn't look so stupid.
