Sweet. Hope you guys are right.

I also found this interesting from 9to5: "We’re thinking these are going to be available sooner rather than later after the announcement."

But why are their two skus for each phone with carrier for the same capacity? As in, why are their two listings for, say the Verizon iPhone 5 with 32gb, each with a different price?

Maybe two different models?

Prices don't matter... they're just placeholders for now.
2 different models are colors, black and white.

But what tells you the whole thing isn't a placeholder? It's probably not harder for them to change "5" to "4S" or "16GB" and "32GB" to "32GB" and "64GB" than to change their placeholder price to the actual one.

This doesn't confirm Radioshack has any more information that we do, we all know an new iPhone is gonna be released soon.

This is a stretch, but what if the prices are correct and the GB (16 and 32) are as well? It could be that "entry-level iPhone."

Just something to ponder.

why, would you want to pay more for internal storage? the mobile space is going cloud bud.

You may be happy with iCloud for storage but not everyone is. From what I've read iCloud is no substitute for internal storage not to mention it requires an internet connection. I rather have 64GB or even 128GB of internal storage then rely on and pay extra for the iCloud service.

yeah, but iCloud isn't the only cloud service in the market. i just wouldn't want to pay extra $$ for extra space

i rarely use up any internal storage anyhow.

depends on person i suppose.

Current models:
16gb = $199 w/ 2 yr contract
32gb = $299 w/ 2 yr contract

Hypothetical models:

64gb = $399 WITH 2yr contract??? yuck :(

128gb = $499 WITH 2 yr contract??? brb I think I need to go throw up :(

Even if iCould offered music streaming (which it won't for now), people would still be limited by:

1) Data caps
2) Unreliable / inconsistent network reception
3) Buildings with bad reception
4) Subways and basements with no reception at all

I wish we were but really we're not ready to depend on the cloud just yet. Not to mention iTunes match will only be available in the US at first and the iPhone demographic is much larger than just the US.

I hope there will be a 64GB model.

Personally I prefer as much internal storage as possible. That's why all the iPhones and both iPads I've bought I've got the highest end models with the most storage.

Also storage isn't just for music. Chances are that the next iPhone will have 1080p video recording and possibly still no setting to change recording resolution, so that will take massive space too.
