iPhone 5. Apple's square vs sleek teardrop design

Square.

It is already an iconic design. has more space inside for the components and is unique. Almost every other smartphone out there has the rounded shape. And the teardrop, besides being phisically impossible to make. Looks ugly.

Don't you wonder though with all the supposed copying of Apple going on that no one has even bothered with a square, brick shape phone?

Ok jokes aside. A tear drop design will look absolutely terrible with the way iOS is designed. A grid of icons dont really fit a teardrop design
