After changing the iphone 5 battery and no screen display. I could hear the phone ring and message tone. Tried with home button and on/off button to switch on. Nothing happens. Will any guru help out ? thanks.

Did you change the battery yourself? Could've missed a wire that had come lose that connects your board to your screen

yeah, the lcd connection to the logic board is dislodged - check ifixit for good repair guides and get back in there and fix it.
