Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help. My girlfriend has just had the battery replaced in her iPhone 5 after we saw it dropping from 60% to 40% and not holding the charge properly.

After the battery replacement the random % drops seem to be worse, for example 53% to 3% then it turns off. Plug it in and it jumps to 25%.

Is there anything you'd suggest to resolve these issues? Find it hard to believe the new battery is faulty and it almost suggests the old battery wasn't actually a dud either.

Did you get the battery installed at Apple or did you go to a mall kiosk?

A non OEM Apple battery can cause all kinds of trouble. I would take it back to them and have them replace the battery again and hope. The warranty is voided now and I am not sure if Apple would even help.

Warranty was long gone on the device. Took it back today and got it swapped so we'll see.

Thanks
