    Hi there,
    I have a problem with my iPhone 5, iOS 8.4, old about year and half. Since the beginning I have my bluetooth, location services, auto-brightness etc. turned off, I close no longer using apps and all the stuff like that and the battery was just fine. Suddenly two days ago battery started draining very quickly, even when not using the phone at all. I tried to restore network services, didn't helped at all. For about a month I use my phone even less then before, just a few calls and playing a little bit of music and than this happened, I didn't install any new apps and kept settings the same. Yesterday I let the phone die and charged it completely, unplugged from charger, had 100%, went to sleep and woke up to 81%, usually I have 98% at least. Could someone help me?

    Try a hard reset (press and hold down both the home button/power at the same time), or a factory reset;
    if this won't help, you may need to replace a new battery to solve the problem.

    Tried both of these, didn't help, I even tried to set the phone as a new, also no differences.. Since the phone is almost two years old, I think I should buy new one rather pay for new battery.. but I don't want to give up on him :/

    Try to calibrate your battery, if it still not works. well, time to get a new replacement.

    Never heard of this, my battery is 4% now, so it's the best time to let it die and I'm gonna try this, thanks for the tip!
    Yesterday the battery was kinda OK, but over night it went down from 50% to 6% when everything was turned of, if the calibration won't work, I'll replace my 5 for 5s :/

    That sucks. Give it a try to calibrate your battery, I once did this and saved my phone. You can google how to calibrate iOS battery. Anyway, iphone 5s is not a bad choice :D

    I have to say that the calibration probably helped, but I haven't been using my phone that much since and in the meantime I accepted the fact that I have to buy a new phone and kinda say goodbye to this one :D

    There's also a battery recall on a number of iPhone 5 phones, have you checked if yours might qualify for it to get the battery swapped out?

    I checked but it doesnt qualify for that.. Now the battery seems alright, but I used the phone for like 10 minutes a day and LTE and Wifi are turned off all the time.

    My battery suddenly drained faster on IOS8.

    It is only 18 months old, but I had it checked and it failed. Have just replaced it, have done hard reset, turned it off several times, I also have background app updates, push, and all location things switched off apart from weather and GPS apps.

    It is still using more battery in standby than before, and so I think it is the OS (8.4).

    After upgrading to iOS 8.3, battery drains quickly. Then i tried go back to iOS 6.2 and it works fine now.
