Okay I just got iBackupBot and looked at the battery stats for my iPhone 6 that drains really fast... As I figured, it's fine.
iPhone:
iPad:
What's the deal? My iPad got 12 hours on a charge, pretty much YouTube nonstop the entire time, it's incredible! However, I've had it for a year, and it has 300 cycles, and is over 400 mah below the max capacity... Still works incredibly.
My iPhone has been with me since mid October, has always had battery life issues. It gets warm just from safari, checking Twitter, Instagram, checking people's snapchat stories real quick... It's at 81 cycles and is only like 50 mah below the max capacity. Yes, I have low signal listed under some apps, but that's only because I visted an area that barely has signal for almost 2 hours. Battery drained only 2% there. However, my battery drained 7% just from the 10-15 minute car ride back (I was using my phone in the passenger seat the whole way, mostly Safari) but if I am home all day with -105db to -115db, I never get low signal under apps, call drops, slow data speeds, anything. I pull 20-30mbps with LTE at these signals. Also, I am on WiFi the whole time at my house.
Both devices have pretty much the same settings with battery draining ones disabled, both are on 8.1.2 and usually have 25-40% brightness or so.
I performed a clean restore on my iPhone 6 two days ago, I have 10 apps on there, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Twitter, Snapchat, Trivia Crack, Instagram, Bible, Roku. Background app refresh is off, location services are all stripped down, nothing has "Always", I even disabled location for a ton of the "System Services". Mail is set to fetch every hour. Setting to manual made no difference.
I really don't know what else to do. I guess I will always just have to deal with 3 and a half hour to 6 hour cycles when everyone else is getting 8 to 11 hour cycles.
