I believe in repairing restoring , not consumerism , I thought this site had a team of experts and professional engerniers , along side enthusiastic hobbyists hoping to learn some good inside knowledge , instead every body ( just about ) has told me just buy the newest or latest new apple device , hello I am here for repair advice and solutions not sales pitches ....
nah, you don't get it. Your cost to try to fix it will run you higher than getting an out of replacement phone from apple. And since you clearly don't understand the equipment needed , trying to fix it will be a lost cause. Hell, you don't even know how to quote a post so people can see what you replied to them.

If you want, show us a pic and maybe I can tell you if you can fix it yourself or not.
 
Apple does not publish schematics.

What size parts? 0201? 01005? You can buy them from digikey.com in small quantities.

You can find videos on youtube regarding repairing solder pads. I wouldn't attempt it with such small components, pcba junked.

Make and model is irrelevant, you need to know value.

Hopefully you held onto the component, you'll need to use a capacitance meter to determine value.

Depending on the circuit function? iPhone may function without.

Capacitors are open circuit for DC, a wire short would cause problems.
Hello. For some reason, I can't stand not repairing broken things in the room and the house (even if I can live without it). I'd like to ask, what capacitors (the complete list if possible) are in the iPhone 5 (from the smallest to the largest, eg. 0201, 01005 as mentioned). If I can't find an iPhone 5 schematics, I'll just compare the values of each tiny capacitor with another iPhone 5 with a multimeter but which multimeter is best for iPhone 5 repair (and even portable video console repairs and perhaps Wacom Intuos 4 Wireless repair):

If it's ok to ask for advise and recommendations, which is the best when you want to repair an iPhone 5, Wacom Intuos 4 wireless and video game consoles (maybe the capacitance reading would be the most important but you'd know best). Do I buy the BSIDE S11 or the S20 multimeter (they seem to have different capacitance reading capabilities and the S20 has an EMF sensor):



They have the S10 model which isn't rechargeable, it uses AAA (is this better than rechargeable with built-in battery?).
