Iphone 5 delivery in october

Hi i woke up abou 5 in the morning on friday preorder my iphone i was shocked at the fact that i have to wait 2 weeks for ittoship and the 5 more days forme to get it because i wontrecieve it until the 10/5 just cuirious to know if any others were pushed to october and howyourdealing with it because im craving my phone and i feel like a little bit in my is dying without it please feel free to share your stories with me
 
You are not alone, there are many other thread of other people who are learning to deal with it, too.

When I saw the "receive by 9/26" I just closed out the window and planned on getting there bright and early Friday morning.
 
I'm upset too but you never know, you could still get an email with your tracking number and it will get there by this Friday? at least that's what hoping for, if not oh well.
 
Go stand in line at an apple store if its killing you so badly. Last year, with the 4S my wife casually went to the Apple store on the Saturday, day after release, and they still had a ton in stock.
 
If you weren't willing to stay awake or wake early to preorder your iPhone then you can't complain. I waited until midnight and ordered it from Verizon without any problems. You should have known that the demand would have been extremely high.

Me too! Don't you love it. The way I see it is that Apple ALWAYS screws up the first made batch of iPhones somehow. Screens are all yellow, cracks are starting to show, batteries dying after 3 hours of use, etc.

If there is an issue we can always get it replaced by Apple. I had no problem with my 4S or iPad 3 and I got them on release day.

Yeah. I remember the iMacs having problems and the iPads having issues and the early retina Macbook Pros having minor issues too!

Ah - I suppose I'm glad I woke up for no reason at 2:30 AM EST, took the dog out, and ordered when I did.

I have an Oct. 2 delivery date. I have only seen a few others with this date, everyone seems to be the 5th... weird
 
I lazily walked into my local Verizon store on Saturday night and received the October 5th estimate. I'm fine with that. Hopefully some new accessories and app updates will be out by then.

Yeah I'm one of those Oct 2nd delivery dates. They seem to be quite rare (so are Oct 1st dates). Everybody else is the 5th or later.

When I called Apple, they told me not to be surprised if I get it before then. I am so anxious. I wonder if we are borderline, and may get em on or close to release date?

I still haven't gotten a shipment email or prepping to ship email yet though...:(
