So a friend of mine sent these images over... He said that he got them from someone he knows who is working on software for one of the iPhone 5 hardware components... I wonder if they're real or not. What do you think?

If he's your friend why don't you ask him if they're real or not? :rolleyes:

I think these images have been posted before...as recently as yesterday, in fact. ;)

That's an iPhone 4 with with the screen stretched to the sides in photoshop.

you can see it has the old torx screws, now the iphone 4 uses safety torx.

Especially considering those pictures depict two devices with different sized screens...

1) You can see it has the old torx screws, now the iphone 4 uses safety torx.

2) It's super bright;
3) There's no reflection on the person's hand;
4) It's a Photoshop.

I watched an iFixit video where the girl was ranting about how they don't use torx or safety torx and that they use "pentalobular" screws in the iPhone now. Could be wrong though...
