That's an AT&T iPhone 4. There is a sim slot on it.

The top one is Verizon is it not?
Nothing to see there. That looks just like a Verizon iPhone 4.

blah blah blah
Okay I get that the Verizon version doesn't have a SIM slot, but I thought it was interesting that the lower antenna was in a different position and that the antenna above it is non-existent in the picture I originally posted.
Sorry for speculating on a rumors site.![]()
VZW phones don't have sim slots...and that screen is no larger. The black mark on the side, where the antenna is connected, is just moved further up the phone to give the illusion that it is a larger screen. Blow the picture up and put your phone next to it. Everything lines up except that black line.

BTW...not giving you a hard time, just pointing out the things I see...You had me questioning it too...
Ok, who fricken cares. This thread is not about what the VZ iphone looks like compared to the AT&T one.
With a bigger screen also comes room for a larger battery![]()
And a bigger phone... no thank you. I like the iphone's size as is and I don't need something bigger to take up more room in my purse (I would rather not have to have those huge bags might as well be carrying a backpack some woman carry). And I can't imagine wanting a bigger phone if I carried my phone in my pocket...
Here's another vote for screen to stay the same size. The screen is a perfect compromise between usable screen and practical cellphone size.
After how much they played up the Retina Display, I highly doubt they would increase screen size. At the same resolution, a 4" display would drop the DPI to 288. While not a significant drop, it would not be qualified for the "Retina" label. The only option would be to increase the resolution by a easily scale-able amount, such as one and a quarter. This would make the resolution 1200x800 and at 4" it would be 360 DPI. I doubt a screen this high quality would be cost effective. And that would make app designers have to overhaul their products yet again.
Also, if the body size was increased to accommodate a larger screen, that would render many products design to fit all generations of iPhones useless. The overall size of the iPhone has remained pretty standard. Apple isn't going to change something that works well.
Sure some might have slightly better color representation, but just because they're bigger doesn't mean they're better.

Thanks Captain Obvious...Of course if the screen is larger the phone would have to be to. I thought it was fine when I first got it, but now that I've had an iPhone for 3 years now, it seems small. Especially when I see others phones who are way bigger and easier to watch youtube vids on. I think the iPhone 4 is by far the best looking phone out there compared to these other phone, and the large screen does make them look funny, but it also makes them more useful. I drive on the road as a trucker daily and use my phone constantly to plan trips and find truck stops. It's be easier to see if the screen was larger, and also be better for when the youtube vid comes up in forums, and don't wanna pull out the laptop to watch. Maybe they will have both. If so, then it would be best for everyone. If not, then my vote is for a larger screen. Gotta see what I'm looking at, and everyone loves a big screen tv.
But if Apple decides to release a bigger screen they aren't going to drop the pixel density, especially after advertising it with the retina display, so they would have to increase the resolution to keep the same density. That's why I think the larger screen rumors are fake, if Apple was going to change the resolution they would have given the developers some notice.
