Maybe its just me, but I have NEVER had any desire to hang out in some random Vietnamese message forums waiting for fake pictures of a phone that doesn't exist yet.

...maybe its just me.

yup its just you

For those who don't read French, or Chinese:

The three Chinese characters featured prominently in the watermark of each image are, from left to right, "four", "month/moon", and "fish". "Fourth moon" is how we say April in Chinese. And the fish? Poisson d'Avril, the French way of saying April Fool's.

lol ... dumb things? ... just because the iPhone is made in China and several knock-offs are also produced there ... that does not confirm anything about the 100s of "leaks" showing photoshop images of the next Apple products.

These leaks are not credible ... Arn has also "confirmed" the photos are part of an "April Fools" prank.

did you not read that part of the thread before you chirped in?

You generalised that all leaks from Asia are not credible - obviously these in particular are not and they are obviously an April fools joke.

the mass produced parts are made in china.... but what about the prototypes? For example, the infamous lost iPhone that ignited the Gizmodo situation... that was just a prototype- don't you think it was probably made in the US? I'm assuming they probably only made a handfull of them for a select few people, so why outsource the job and risk the exposure when you could just make them here, at your own building?

Anyway, I wish we had some reliable leaks. I am getting impatient! Last year spoiled us all- someone needs to get drunk and loose another prototype asap.

Sure, because Apple is going to lengthen the normal release cycle all so they can keep the phone exactly the same..

Crazy
simply for one reason: if they change up the look of the 'revolutionary' iphone 4 after only one year, they would be admitting it's design was a mistake. i don't see that happening.

however, i do hope i'm wrong as hell.
