I saw this yesterday posted on iClarified. To me, that looks amazing :D If the new iPhone looked like that I'd be all over it.

it looks a lot like the competition. But it looks very nice. As long as the specs were up to snuff I would buy a phone that looked like that.

If that was my phone, I'd want it to have my babies.

That is a lovely concept.

Be cool if it had a virtual home button like the picture. I think it's a great feature of the gnex to get more screen with increasing device size.

I like it. It has my vote. But it resembles the 4s. I think the 5 will be very different from the 4/4S. Different from the way the 4/4S was from the 3/3GS if that makes sense.

But one can dream.....

going off of the sim tray leak it might be a thinner looking iPhone 4 - 4s
but the leak on the home button doesn't make this concept real.

Besides looking exactly like the current design, the mockup is too thin to have a battery, let alone other internals. Is that all anyone can come up with: Same design but thinner? cripes.

did you read the measurements of the width of this thing? You obviously haven't seen this...

https://www.macrumors.com/2012/05/0...ne-with-4-inch-screen-and-new-dock-connector/

That shows 7.4...The concept pictures are around 7.9

Also according to this the 7.9 is spot on

With the smaller chip than the a5 it will save on battery life and will make the phone smaller like these concepts...

Still, the same old tired 2 year old design. Just scaled larger and made too thin to actually house any parts. BO-RING.

The concept isn't the same there are similarities but the back is totally different only thing that looks the same is the aluminum band around the phone just thinner. The second link i showed how they are making it thinner it will have the same amount of internals as the iphone4/4S.

Forget about all the 'thinnest Phone' BS floating around, l'd rather keep the current thickness, if it meant 40% +/- more battery life.....

Oh geez, I keep being reminded how true it is that ideas seem to happen at the same time! I was just thinking this yesterday.... the whole back might not be liquid metal, but the antenna very well could be! (and I like the concept photo btw)

there is not much point to liquid metal if the front and back is still glass. I have had no issues breaking a 4 or 4s, but I can just see it now... "MY IFUN BROKED WHN I DROP IT WTF LICUIDMTL"

I don't even care about the designs any more. As long as those specs are boosted and/or features added I'm good.

Agreed. There's no point in using liquid metal only for the middle frame. I assume Apple will make the back out of the stuff. And I hope the back will be rounded, like the 3g/3gs.

Exactly. Thickness is irelevant under 10mm. It's only touted by companies that know they employ inferior software to the competition.

Are we even sure Apple is going to use liquid metal for the entire phone? I feel as if these rumors can get out of hand. Then again, I forget to realize where I am.

Keep in mind, they can't use liquid metal where they wouldn't use regular metal. Liquid metal is a combination of 3 or more metals to give it superior flex and light weight, but it's horrible for use as a back because the antenna signal can't get through it any better than regular metals.
