Iphone 5 LTE SPRINT on longisland port Jefferson

Thought i would let people know from Long Island that i was in port Jefferson hospital and had LTE. First time ever since i got my iphone 5, my lord it is fast.

My speed tests say otherwise.

Pretty much this.

The speed test above is far from the norm on Sprint. Extensive nationwide data speed tests and even Sprint's own forums on their website show that for the most part "3G" on Sprint is a sub-500kbps experience and 3G data speeds have actually gotten slower over the past year with their Network Vision joke.

This doesn't really make sense, speeds on Sprint's EVDO and T-Mobile's EDGE aren't constant, everywhere, at all times. So while you can see faster speeds on EDGE than on EVDO (Sprint/Verizon 3G), it's also possible to see faster speeds on EDGE than on LTE, HSPA+, WiMAX, etc.
