Hello,

I have an issue where when I'm over the cellular network and I go to refresh mail it says that it can't get mail because it doesn't have an internet connection. Browsing, streaming, everything works fine except that. It works when I'm over wifi.

Any ideas?

Thanks

My phone is ok but my wife's 5 is having a similar problem. She attempts to read a new email using the stock app but when she clicks on it many times it just sits on the loading screen and nothing happens. I usually have to reboot or switch to airplane mode then back, or even restart the app. Anyone have any hints?

Close app from multitasking.

Reset all settings.

Restart device.

Delete & Re-add mail accounts.

Restore phone as new in iTunes, set everything up from scratch.

Here is the order of steps I would try.

iPhone 5 Mail Problem

I think users are once again holding their phones wrong - and that the purple haze, as seen in the images below, is 'normal behaviour'
