When I sync'd all of my iTunes music to my iPhone 5, a lot of albums sync without the "Artist' name on the album. So when I look for music under the "Artist" tab, it doesn't show all of the artists albums.

My iPod syncs perfectly. It's just a problem with the new iPhone 5.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks.

It's because the song file doesn't have an "Album Artist"

To solve this problem is easy:

    1. Go to iTunes
    2. Right click on the song you are having problems with
    3. Click "Get Info"
    4. Go to the "Info" tab
    5. Fill in the "Album Artist" section with whatever artist it is

I dont know why apple decided to use this section to categorize the songs by artists but now they do. It's stupid. Hope this helps!
