I think the screen could get a bit closer to the edge, but not to the extent it is in the pic.

Best mockup I've seen. Not just saying that. And I did comment in the other thread.
I think this is completely doable, withe exception of a *little* less edge-to-edge and the glass protruding from the metal on the side view just a BIT (almost like the back).
Great idea though.

Not remotely close. Think "Curved Glass" and the backside of the iPad 2.

I've seen this mock-up a million times before. I'm not a designer so don't know why I've come to this decision - but I don't like it at all.

The side would be very thin; not sure if they would give enough structural strength.
I see already the threads in the near future that the "grip of death" really caused the death of the device or at least quite some squezze. The battary would be to hold all together.

Your post is actually where I got it from, I thought it was one of the better ones out there so I posted it here.
I made this before iOS 5 was announced, don't really feel like updating it, someone else can if they want to. I prefer the other mockup anyway.
