I don't mind it. However, it looks like they didn't take into account the duel LED flash rumors.

As an Android user, my last iPhone was the 3G, this could bring me back to Apple for sure, if it looks like that with a 4" screen.

A thinner phone, with larger screen, dual cores, more RAM, and iOS5. Yeah that would do the trick for me.

Is this mockup, pretty legit from what we will get this Fall, or a far fetched fantasy ?

I like this mockup. It looks really good. The only thing I don't understand is why the symbol on the home button is changed. Is it supposed to mean something or is it just a random design change in the mockup?

I actually like this.

But I tend to believe that recent report about Apple execs "falling out of love" with the i4 design. That really rings true to me and this design seems too close to the i4. I doubt we'll get something like this.

But yeah, nice job.

For whatever reason, the larger screen makes the white iphone look weird. Otherwise, I like it.

They should go back to the 3GS way of doing it...white back with a black front. If the new iPhone really does have a larger screen with less 'face' seen around it then it makes even more sense.

Very nice indeed :D I would love for the iPhone to look like this, but to me it looks like its a little long are my eyes are just playing a trick on me

Thumbs up. Just make a small dot on the front for where my LED notification light will be and I would be very happy.

I don't like the home button and I don't see why they'd change it. It's pretty much the symbol of a mobile Apple product.

God I'm such a tool, anytime I see a thread title "new iPhone 5 mockup" I always have to look :D

Good ****, I like it, nothing too crazy different, I'd sell my white iP4, and upgrade to a 32gb (or 64 if they finally up it) iP5, and make $150 in the process.

It'd look bad on a design like this though...if they were to do a white back with a black front, they'd need a back designed more like the 3G...something to make the black look like it sits inside the white, instead of next to it

Don't find it good looking, but hey it's just my opinion ;)
Do you think they could adopt the same form factor as the iPad 2 and iPod Touch?
I could easily picture myself an curved iPhone 5, I must admit the form factor is the only aspect of the iPhone 4 I don't appreciate :(

I'm with you on the curved, iPad 2 like back for the iPhone 5.

unless they made the over all size slightly bigger 4" won't fit (there are CAD drawings floating somewhere around here). It would also lose the magic "retina" factor.

Pretty weak mock-up. Nothing new there other than a screen that won't fit.

IT WOULDNT LOSE THE RETINA MONIKER

Cant believe I have to explain this every GD day.

Apple stated it was retina because at 300ppi AT 12 INCHES FROM YOUR FACE pixels were not visible.

A 4inch screen could be held 14-16" from your face. Thus 260-280PPI is still retina.

In any case, they made the damn term up, they can modify it all they want. But in its current definition, as stated by Apple, its still retina.

How's that? Make the screen slightly bigger and they will magically lose the ability to make then 326 ppi displays?

Woah, there cowboy, lighten up. I don't know about you, but I view my freaking iPad at 14-16" and I've used 4" phones before. 14-16" is too far away for 4". Of course Apple marketing will spin it however unrealistically they want and people will eat it up.

if the screen was edge to edge like this wouldn't you accidentally press the screen when holding the phone?
