iPhone 5 not connecting to wifi

Hey guys, I havent updated
my iphone to the latest update because
i have been caught in a vicious cycle of
not having wifi. My iphone is not connecting
to my home's wifi and I am hesitant to update
it (becuase the last update I did caused my wifi to
not work). Does anyone know what to do?

Back it up and restore, or update to the newest firmware (it patched the bug). Good luck

Best to do a DFU restore I would think
