My iPhone 5 was manufactured in October 2012, I checked the serial and it says.

The serial number you entered is not eligible under this program because either:
- It's not one of the serial numbers in the affected range
- Our records show that your battery has already been replaced. If you paid for a battery replacement service, check with Apple to see if you are eligible for a refund.

Well it is in the range of September 2012 and January 2013, I did have it in for the power button replacement program however they only replaced the power button not the battery. Any ideas?

Did the replace your power button or replace the whole phone? I forgot mine was a replacement until I checked if mine was eligible.

You probably don't have an affected battery then. Not all units have dodgy batteries.
