For Sprint if you are in the south or southeast it looks like thats where their coverage is.
I am in a major metropolitan city called Los Angeles, and I get speeds like the 3G posted on page 1. .3-.4 down / 0.0 up, no LTE. Unacceptable.

Sure I could wait but while I am waiting I should have the option to defer my data payments until its usable, since unlimited nothing is still nothing.

Ahh I see what's going on. Your math above is correct, but the picture I posted is kB/s which is the number I like to use because I think in terms of downloading songs. 3394.1 kB/s = 3.3 MB a second, or 3 seconds to download a 10 MB file.

This happens to a lot of people. kb/s and kB/s are always confused with each other. :)

Gotcha. I stand corrected. Solid LTE speed after all.

What part of LA were u burning thru that much data. I find it to be very spotty out here. I get LTE and lose it without moving.

Sprint does seem to be improving I drive a rig cross country for work and I have noticed it Improve as of the last year

I agree vzw is more reliable but I'm gonna keep my iphone 5 on sprint aslong as I see them improving

Sprints coverage is mainly lacking in the western mountain area everything else I've noticed improvement and more and more lte areas as of late

woodland hills

So I dont know whats worse, not having LTE , or knowing LTE is available 20 miles north of LA and not in LA itself. Grrr.

Although I do agree call quality is the best with Sprint, nowadays I use more data than voice though.

I've had 50-60 mbs in Chicago this time last year before then network had so many LTE users on Verizon. I've seen up to 75 mbs down on Verizon and 68 on AT&T as all time highs. I find the LTE high speeds to be hit or miss though, depends on signal strength, amount of LTE users on the network, etc etc...

Nah, 75Mbps was a glitch if you seen that high. 73Mbps is the theoretical max right now for the amount of bandwidth both AT&T and Verizon are using. Usually you'll come under the theoretical max by a bit.

Does anyone know when La Habra in OC, CA will get LTE? I keep getting different info from CS. The 3G is horrible I don't know if I should hang on with my 4s or jump ship. Been with Sprint about 8 years.
