I've upgraded my iphone 5 and it's running fine so far. Seems to run better than it did on ios 8.

Is it smoother than the beta? Because the beta seemed a bit laggy to me.

Seems OK on my 5. Couple of apps don't work, but that's to be expected of a new iOS and a beta. Only thing I see that trips me up so far is my screen sensitivity seems less. When I quickly enter my lock code, it can't keep up with my fingers most times. I have to enter the 4 numbers deliberately and slowly. Couple of minor beta quirks along the way but not a deal breaker.

Animations can be choppy. Battery seems to be about the same.

Updated to 9 about an hour ago, running on iPhone 5. So far seems smooth to me. Haven't seen performance difference between 8 and 9 but I'm glad my phone is not lagging. I'm glad I updated. I will point out though from what I read it is better to do a clean install from your pc. I backed up my iPhone 5 and restored it to iOS 9. My iPad mini 2 on the other hand, while having a faster processor, is noticibly laggier running iOS 9 vs iOS 8. I did a fresh install on my mini as well.

I am running iOS 9 on iPhone 5 and have noticed signal drop for my Vodafone, it just goes to "No Service" I have to switch on and off Airplane mode and then the signal is back on full strength. Anyone else have issue with call signal drop.

I had a carrier settings update just after the update. Not sure if that means anything.

It performs even better than the iPhone 6 Plus on the new iOS.

Thanks for the info, I did that and there is no pop up. I guess I will have to wait for Vodafone India for the update.
