Do we need 15 different posts saying that it's fake? Nothing is ever real until Apple announces it. And to me, I think that is a beautiful mock up with the 4" inch display and gorgeously thin phone. I don't care if it says iPhone 5 instead of iPhone or that the volume button is photoshopped wrong... Who cares... The point is to get a general idea of what it might look like. I would be 100% satisfied if that was close to what iPhone 5 will be.

I wouldn't. It is terrible. I would definitely skip that release.

Also, the iPhone 4 was 100% 'real' well before Apple announced it. Or did you forget that whole situation?

Ha, the iPhone 5 on the back is so obviously and terribly photoshopped, it's not even funny

whoever made this, which is prob the OP seeing that he just joined MR, failed miserably. Its not a mock up its someone trying to pass it off as the real thing by the OP saying he got it from someone that works for some company that may have access to something like this.

Whoever did this should be embarrassed at all the mistakes made.

Mistakes aside, if this was the real thing I would prob still buy it but am not a big fan of the design

How did you know that iPhone 4 was 100% real before Apple announced it? Alot of discussion went on about how Apple wouldn't have seams on the external case (which turned out to be the antenna).

Because they found a working iPhone 4 in a bar...

Just because some idiots didn't realize that a working unit being tested in the field meant that Apple had nearly completed working out production on final units doesn't make it any less real.

1. No flash?
2. The front of the phone is showing the buttons on the left, but the side view of the phone is showing them on the right?

I agree that is the first 2 things that I thought of when I saw the pictures ;)

Who in their right mind would actually think this is real? :p
