Sounds like fun, what sort of time did you get there for the iPad launch? and were the queues long? i think i might be underestimating how many people will be doing the same thing

got there for 11am. but people arriving a few hrs after that still got what they wanted. cut out the middle man and possible muck ups from the delivery companies. just you and the apple store is the way to go!

I'm hoping to pre-order my upgrade through Voda and get it delivered to the store I drive past on the way home. Worked well with last 2 iPad launches. You don't get the frisson of going to the Apple store but the 21st is a work day
