i had a android that i and i had backed upo my SMSs and call logs with a program called SMS backup
it makes them into chat style logs under a label in gmail

im wondering if theres anyway restore these to the iPhone?
if not is there a way to import csv files with the info to a iphone?
because i think i can get it to export to that
or would it be possible to manually edit/create sms logs on my mac for the iphone i can probably script the creation/transcription instead of manually typing all the info into a sms database for the iPhone

thanks

wel... that sucks
you think apple would encourage switching to the iPhone
theres dozens of apps for going the other way
anyway im open to suggestions not having my texts and call logs bothers me

still wonder wether i should switch back :(

Sucks but Apple doesnt provide support and restore such functions from other platforms.
If you had an iphone before you could restore all that stuff back but you can never restore text messages and call logs from other phones, manufacturers or other mobile OS's. You can transfer your contacts but that's about it.
Up to you whatever you decide.
