iPhone 5 run faster with less apps

I have noticed my iPhone 5 is snappier and quicker when I delete apps.

I'm not sure why this is, but it is noticeable....

Any ideas?

Ah this sounds right to me. I just keep a list of apps in my notes now.

I doubt I'll ever update from iOS 6 unless I buy future iPhones. And I know many people don't believe me but my iPhone 5 is def snappier when I don't have many apps.
