My 2 year old iPhone 5 screen was coming off at the top (pic) and camera had dust in it so had black dots in pictures. I was worried that Apple would refuse it because I went in with my dad when he hd an appointment and they said 45 pounds and 2 hours to swap camera even though it just needed a blast of air inside.

Apple swapped it right out no problems and we seen a guy bring in a Tibook so I had a lil chat with the genius guy about them because I still love my 13 year old Ti 500

This is last month of my contract as well so I can keep it and go on the cheap or sell it as maybe "new" fresh Apple refurb unused with 3 months warranty on it and get a 6....

A happy ending story! :D :apple:

They gave you a new phone?!

Yep. What can I say? Top notch service! It came with 7.1.2 as well so must have beens sitting around a while.

Still charging it up. Appointment was 4 hours ago and just got home and put my backup on it 30 mins ago.

Wish I took my lightening cable in because it wasn't working right but I can't find it so I have to use my iPod Nano cable which I want to keep perfect

Your phone definitely been through wear and tear. But I'm assuming the screen lifted due to bulging battery. My 19 month old 5 was replaced for same reason, (but screen wasn't lifted as bad as yours) under a safety issue even though OOW.

It had been treated with great respect. Never dropped it or anything bad for it. My iPhone 4 still alive but its seeing flash memory problems but we can skip that here. I put the same cover on the new one but from the last one I know it will not protect the metal near the front since the last one had some silvery spots on it. The only wear and tear it had was 2 years of usage :D

Yeah few months ago the screen started to look like I was pressing too hard on it so it must have started back then but at the weekend it just popped right off! My sister had her man replace her screen because she broke it so he had all the tools so he could have opened it and looked in but I was too scared that the whole glass would have came off or something.. that or Apple would think it was tampered with so I refused any service from him.

I was surprised a while ago when I took the cover off and there was all the missing paint marks myself.... hmmm it looked like it covered them

I have the official Apple full cover on my iPad and its all perfect condition apart from the cover needing a wash lol. I need to find a case for my phone that won't let the sides get worn look this time

BTW: The cover has a British flag on it and my mom bought me it 2 years ago for the iPhone 5 when I got it
